My ethos is showing people how powerful art is as a tool for communication and for catharsis. People seem to forget that at the end of the day, artists are real people. Having buried a lot of my feelings over the years I have found art as a way of helping to express those locked-up emotions. It is not just about the finished article, it is truly about the inner journey of the person, for me the actual process of art-making and being in the moment. It is this connection which I am passionate about and am trying to bring awareness to.
I also initiate and support community projects with the aim of exhibiting art as often as is practically possible, linking and supporting artists, keeping neglected buildings useful for the community and for the sheer joy and beauty of all things art.
